There are a few existing applications dedicated to assisting with locating rhymes. However, most of these tools only consider the final syllable of a single word. As a result, for instance, 'dorothy' might be suggested as a rhyme for 'family' simply due to them sharing the '-y' ending.
The reality is that such rhyming is relatively simplistic from a technical standpoint. This is due to the fact that many words consist of multiple emphasized syllables beyond just the last one. The initial part of 'family' (the 'a' sound) is completely disregarded!
Enter reimmund. This app takes into account all emphasized syllables within a provided word or phrase to identify rich multi-syllable rhymes. Consequently, a search for 'family' offers matches such as 'manatee', 'melon tree', 'rental fee', and 'LSD' – illustrating how both the first syllable ('fam-') and the last syllable ('-ly') align with the outcomes. These are notably well-crafted rhymes.
Following a trial period, it becomes necessary to obtain a subscription to access the complete feature set and remove advertisements. Please be aware that these subscriptions (1 month, 6 months, 1 year) renew automatically and are billed to your iTunes account. A purchased subscription auto-renews within 24 hours before the current term concludes and thus needs manual deactivation by the user in the iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before this renewal.
